Artist Statement

As a queer disabled person, I believe it is important to have minorities be seen in art. For this reason, I dedicate my art to people like myself and make sure we are seen in it. Disabled people, POC, trans and queer people, we all deserve to see ourselves in media rather than just the same white cisgender heterosexual person. For this reason, I create stories and narratives about the ways I and people like me feel oppression and experience the world. Through happiness, joy, lust, loss, anger, we deserve to have ourselves be known and shown, and that is what my art is about, primarily set in comics and animation but also branching out into whatever method of art that I find myself enjoying.
